This neo-classical home was designed by Moorehouse and MacDonald of Lexington, MA and built by Auger Building Company of Greenland, NH.
This design project was awarded to TfLA after competition of conceptual designs with others. The TfLA design featured a muscular perimeter wall and an elaborate outdoor room set in a system of terraced stone walls. Over time, the pool in the original design morphed into a fountain with custom designed bronze spouts and an exquisite bronze fire bowl. The planting is structured to provide privacy and detailed to emphasize simplicity of form and line to compliment the building with numerous textural tones. All plants were hand selected as specimens.
