3S Artspace

Art, Gathering, and Community Space

The 3S Artspace will be under construction in 2014 and while the site is small, the exterior spaces will be unique to Portsmouth. The spaces include: a street-side restaurant terrace surrounded by native grasses and shade trees and an entry court to theater space that includes a slope ramp and sitting wall, lawn space, edible plants, stone plinths for sitting and impromptu theatrics, and a green screen separating the space from the immediate parking lot to the south. It is an exceptional building with green space in Portsmouth! Bravo to Director Chris Greiner and the building committee members for the commitment to the comfort of its guests.
